Beyond Trend, 2019
Creative Growth, known as Oakland’s largest nonprofit art center, serves and promotes artists with developmental, mental, and physical disabilities. Their annual runway show and pop-up shop, Beyond Trend, celebrates their artist’s one-of-a-kind fashions and directly supports the maintenance of Creative Growth’s art programs. We created a highly shoppable pop-up to support their cause and add opportunities for connection and giving.
The pop-up shop was brought to the WILD by creating an environment to explore, with foliage inspired partitions and signage. Shoppers leave with exclusive clothing, artwork, and a selfie in the wild.
